Akesmere Farm is situated on the Delamere Loop.
The loop is a 22 miles long and runs along bridleway's and minor roads. It runs from partway along the Whitegate Way round in a circle, taking in Delamere Forest, Primrosehill Wood, and Little Budworth Country Park. Other good riding trails close by are the Oakmere Way, the Whitegate Way, Little Budworth Common, Kelsall Hill and the Somerford Equestrian Centre.
